Rules

How can individuals use the documents in work - room
The archive documents are available with the consent of the manager of the Archive and after 30 years after the documents issuing date.
Orders for documents to the laboratory are generally realized the next day, for individuals from outside Bydgoszcz the same day at 8, 10, 12 and 2.

Reprography
If possible, the Archive makes copies (Xerox, photos and scans) of the documents.
The price of one copy depends on the size of the original document and the purpose for which it is copied.

Paid inquiries

The archive personnel, if ordered in writing, conduct searching for the client's family documents, essential acts of law or the specified scientific issue.
Having found all the information concerning the sort of the needed documents and their thematic and chronological scope, the Archive will estimate the cost of the search.
One hour of documents searching for scientific purposes costs 25 PLN and for genealogical, owner-change and commercial purposes - 55 PLN.
The thorough document searching is conducted after advancing 50% of the calculated document search cost.
Charges in USD and EURO are estimated on the basis of the exchange rate of The Polish National Bank on the day of application.
